SINGAPORE ACADEMY OF GxP EXCELLENCE

Singapore and the Asia-Pacific region, continue to gain a greater share of the global pharmaceutical industry as more pharmaceutical companies shift their manufacturing and research activities to this region. The growth forecast of this industry is 9% to 12% over 2006-2010. SAGE, together with the Economic Development Board of Singapore, recognizes the need to build a workforce that is technically capable to meet the evolving and heightening regulatory standards for the manufacture of pharmaceutical, biologic and other health products.

SAGE aims to offer a world-class academic programme by partnering with renowned academic institutions and pharmaceutical training organizations to shape human capital for the challenges in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries.  Satisfactory completion of courses may lead to the attainment of :

  • Postgraduate Certificates (conferred by Temple University, USA)
  • MSc (Pharmaceutical Science and Technology) Degree (conferred by National University of Singapore)

These Postgraduate Certification and Professional Development  courses are suitable for Professionals, Managers, and Executives who are working in or aspiring to enter the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Participants should preferably have obtained first degrees in science or engineering and have accrued some relevant work experience.
Participants will also benefit from networking with the faculty, trainers and experts from academia, pharmaceutical industry and regulatory authorities in Singapore and USA. SAGE provides the platform for the exploration of global best practices and latest advances in the industry.
